IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT
It has been announced that, after long and careful consideration,
the Parochial Church Council have decided to sell the Parish Hall.
The proceeds will provide for a new Community Centre
(including toilet facilities !!) to be built alongside the South wall of
our Church, just above our present South door.
A landscaped pathway will lead from Gladstone Road to the new building.
There will also be access to the Church from the newly formed South door.
This is an exciting development and a statement of our faith
to our Parish Community.

Great News
This morning Fr David announced at the end of the Mass
that the Parish Hall has been sold.
The buyer is Plaxton Family Housing Trust whose sole objective is to provide affordable housing for elderly persons born or living in Scarborough .
We understand that in due time the Trust intend to build an apartment block, probably no more than two storeys high, comprising approximately 9 self contained apartments with some on site parking.
The PCC in accepting the offer from the Trust were delighted with
the Trust's proposals.
St Saviour's can now proceed with enthusiasm to build our new Church Hall in accordance with the plans which were outlined some time ago (see above)
and which are on display in Church again.
We have an exciting future and in these uncertain times are proclaiming our faith
and the constant presence of Our Lord in our Parish.
